Founder

After a decade working in the hospitality sector, Alexander Fell was hungry for change. His job was draining his energy, but there was someone at home who truly lit him up: his first dog. Uniting his branding skills with his passion for his pet, he launched the brand in 2017 and has been providing luxury companion animal accessories and other products ever since.

Materials

The company is transitioning to sustainable materials. Their best-selling raincoats are made from recycled PU, while some of their dog beds are also crafted using recycled fabrics. The brand is also free from PVC.

Production

Production takes place in China, Hong Kong, Poland, and Turkey. When selecting suppliers, Barc London focuses on sustainability issues as well as safeguarding human rights.

People

Anti-slavery and labour practices are high on the company's priorities when choosing their partners. All employees are paid a living wage and the founder regularly visits their factories.

Barc London is a 100% vegan brand.

Charity Donations

Barc London supports the Wild at Heart Foundation and Jai Dog, which is owned by the Ministry of Sound.

Packaging

Recycled dust bags and recycled mailers are used for the brand's packaging. The dog clothing is shipped in a biodegradable bag.
