Women's Vegan Heels

Vegan heels typically are made from synthetic materials such as polyurethane and polyester, but increasingly plant-based leathers such as cactus, apple, cork or grape are used to give a more authentic and comfortable feel – and to minimise environmental impact.

A simple way to clean vegan suede heels is to apply a rubbing alcohol to any stains using a cloth. Apply the alcohol on stains using a soft brush. Even a toothbrush would work! Stains that are harder to remove need to be blotted with a cloth to be lifted out of the fabric.

Synthetic vegan leather made of polyurethane is not porous, so water will not do any damage to the heels. Simply apply some soapy water to a cloth and gently rub the shoe, applying more pressure to stubborn stains. Plant-based vegan leather heels can have fine pores so more care is required. Treat this as if it were animal leather - use a care and polish cream, either colourless or in tone with the colour of the shoe.
