Founder
Karoliina Bärlund has a background as a distinguished fashion photographer: her portfolio includes names such as ELLE, VOGUE, L'Officiel, Another Magazine, Metal, Marimekko, L'Oreal, Nokia, and many more. It was her artistic sensibility and the life-altering experience of motherhood that inspired her to start ASK Scandinavia. Karoliina's entrepreneurial journey began when she recognized a void in the market, a lack of changing bags that fuse sophistication, elevated timeless design, and innovation. This inspired her to create a brand that embodied her responsible fashion vision.
“Our authentic commitment to innovation has enabled us to forge invaluable partnerships with industry-leading material innovation companies. These collaborations are a testament to ASK Scandinavia's position as a true pioneer in the fashion industry, continually pushing the boundaries of what's possible and setting new standards for responsible design.”

The materials are sourced from the US and Italy.
