Hurtig Lane
Barcelona-based vegan watches brand Hurtig Lane was founded in 2016 by British couple Cerian and Michael, who became vegan after watching Earthlings. As fashion-lovers, they were determined to produce a high fashion brand that was also 100% animal and cruelty-free.
They pride themselves on the quality of their watches. All are made with a stainless steel back and case, with no alloys (so they won’t bubble, rust or lose colour); they use IP plating which is the method used to integrate colour into the steel so it doesn’t flake or fade; and they use the Japanese Miyota movement for durability and reliability, which is guaranteed for two years.
They have several men's and women’s collections, which include metallic, rubber and fabric straps, as well as vegan leather (made from cotton-woven fibre with PU). All their straps are PVC free and made using recycled materials; and their watches are shipped and packaged with environmentally-friendly materials such as recycled cardboard and nylon.
