After suffering a life-threatening subarachnoid haemorrhage in 2015, Kavita Basi created two brands with a different purpose but each with the same goal – providing the best products for both consumers and the planet.

At just 38 years old, having always been a healthy person and enjoying a successful, career-orientated life, Kavita collapsed with a seizure and her whole world fell apart. She spent two months in hospital and underwent four intense brain surgeries. She has had to relearn many cognitive and physical skills and her positive spirit, family and friends all helped during this difficult time.

She now works closely with charities built around helping those with neurological conditions as well as their family and friends. Her interest in sustainability, combined with wanting to live better due to her life-changing experience, all helped in the formation of Reflexone and Ration.L, which is dedicated to sustainable footwear.

These brands offer sustainable products with longevity, designing with intent, from eco materials that are either recycled, vegan & cruelty free, through to biodegradable packaging. These products encourage a healthier happier lifestyle, so please enjoy them and feel good about the planet.

All Reflexone leggings, vest and cycle shorts are made from recycled post-consumer certified plastic fibres.
